MyTV Help

What is a video channel?

A video channel is a compilation of videos put together by users to share with the world!

What should I put on my video channel?

Consider yourself your own TV producer. You get to decide what videos you want to display on your channel. Whether your goal is to keep all your favorite videos in one place or to share them with the world, it is ultimately up to you to decide what videos make it to your channel. For guidance on what videos are inappropriate, check our Terms of Service.

Where can I share my channel?

You can choose to have MyTV publish your channel onto your Facebook, Tumblr, or Twitter account. Feel free to use the url to your channel to share directly with friends too.

Can I create more than one channel?

No. Your channel acts as your profile, and each user has only one.

How do I change the thumbnail of my channel?

If your channel is linked to a specific social media account, your avatar will be automatically transported to your MyTV account! That being said, we understand if you don't want your channel thumbnail to be a picture of you showing off your Cabo tan, so you can change your thumbnail by updating your account information here.

Who can see my channel?

All of the channels - like all the videos in them - are public (thanks, YouTube!). However, we will not give away your private information. If you have any concerns about your privacy, check out our Privacy Policy.

Seriously, how many emails will I get?

Our goal is not to spam you. While our default settings notify you of new subscribers, and tell you when people share or comment on your videos, you can opt out of these e-mails from the Settings page.
